Archbishop Melissa's Visit November 11, 2018

On November 11, 2018, a glorious sunny day, Archbishop Melissa presided over the Worship Service. We began the Service by a brief Remembrance Day observation with Rev. Philip Barker placing a wreath at the altar. After a moments silence and the singing of ‘O Canada’, we continued our worship and Reverend Paul presented candidates Susan Nicholson and Sandy Cockroft to Melissa for confirmation and Muriel Liggalt to reaffirm her baptismal vows. Immediately after the service Archbishop Melissa blessed our new elevator/ lift and solar panels. And then to the church hall for an all parish photo and an updated photo of All Saints recipients of the ODNW. By now we were hungry and shared in a potluck lunch. We also celebrated Derek Bolton’s 91st Birthday with cake a song. After lunch Melissa took questions from the parishioners and then met with the members of the Parish Council.
