Order of the Diocese of New Westminster

I would just like to thank everyone for your best wishes, cards, and gifts.  Due to all the issues this year with Covid-19 the Diocese decided that it was just too dangerous to hold it as they always have with the Archbishop, all the priests, families, and friends in attendance for the ceremony and a reception held after.  I for one was very grateful when they decided to hold it at the parish level with our own Parish family (even my daughters) watching it on Zoom or attending in person and Paul presiding.  I was not really looking forward to all the pomp and circumstance and the crush of people at the reception.  For me It was a special and more personal day because you were all able to be a part of it.  I would not have been receiving this recognition if it were not for all the wonderful giving and supportive people at All Saints.  Thank you to Paul for the citation he wrote and his kind words, to Colleen for honouring me by placing the medal on me, to Polly who refused to let me do Altar Guild and acting as photographer, to Ed for purchasing the lovely flowers on the Altar, and a special thank you to all of you for making me feel so welcome when I arrived in Mission and for allowing me to serve you and All Saints.  You are all very special people.
